Written appraisals are good for insurance purposes, as well as for many other legal and non-legal purposes. When you bring in an instrument to our store for an appraisal, our experienced repair department will inspect it thoroughly and write up a full report on its value.

We offer a formal written appraisal for $25 for most instruments. Appraisals for solid-body electric guitars are $50 due to the extra work involved in checking out the pickups, wiring, controls and other interior parts.

Please expect to leave the instrument with us for a few days while the appraisal is completed.
