The Dual Terror is a simple amp head that will blow your socks off. We don't know how Orange crammed so much sound into such a small package, but they did a fantastic job. Hook this up to any speaker cabinet, crank up the volume and don't look back. Packed into a Dual Terror you'll find both a Tiny Terror channel (with its classic searing overdrive and British crunch) and a Fat Channel (with a nice fat low-mid tone and higher gain). This amp's main strength is in its overdrive -- it's very much a classic rock/blues amp (think AC/DC style old-school hard rock) that sounds every bit as good as the best 30-watt tube amps around. Though it's hard to get a completely clean tone from the Dual Terror, it cleans up nicely -- it's very dynamic and responds to your picking intensity. It has simple controls that anyone can use (each channel has a volume knob, a bass/treble knob and a gain knob), and you can flip switches to adjust between 30-watt/15-watt/7-watt output, so you can get the same great tone at full volume on-stage or at lower volumes in the studio. And it's lightweight (just under 22 pounds) and portable, too -- it even comes with a padded gigbag and shoulder strap.
